Contractor Training Stipends

Mountain Association provides stipends of up to $1,000 for energy-related contractors working in Eastern Kentucky to achieve new certifications or meet continuing education requirements to advance their careers and knowledge in the field. Eligible certifications include, but are not limited to: NABCEP, Building Operators Certification, Certified Energy Manager, Building Performance Institute, RESNET, and HVAC Excellence.

Funding is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Recipients must work for a company based in the Mountain Association service territory. Businesses are limited to two stipends in a 3-year period.

Stipend must be used for registration costs and/or travel expenses. All expenses must be accompanied by a receipt or invoice. Proof of successful certification or completion of CE credits must be provided.
