Robert Allen

Robert joined the Mountain Association in April 2022 as Director of Lending. He is responsible for the leadership, development, and effective implementation of our lending work. Prior to this position, Robert worked in banking for more than 34 years where he served in various roles including business lender, consumer lender and chief operating officer. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Louisville and a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Louisville. Robert and his wife Kathy live in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Robert’s favorite spot in Eastern Kentucky is at the family homeplace on Cow Creek in Floyd County.
