West Virginia: Get Your Business Online!
CEO has often heard from small business owners across West Virginia that they face hurdles in getting their businesses online. To help with this, CEO has joined a coalition led by Senator Rockefeller which has invited Google to Charleston to hold a one-day workshop to provide access to a free website and other tools designed to help small businesses in West Virginia establish an online presence.
The workshop will be held March 19, 2012, at the Clay Center’s Walker Theater in Charleston.
It will give businesses access to a free and easy-to-build professional website from Intuit; a free customized domain name and hosting service for one year; a local business listing; and free tools, resources, and trainings. Essentially, West Virginia businesses can walk in offline and walk out online.
Due to limited space, you should pre-register for the event. Two sessions will be offered; the morning session runs 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and the afternoon session is 12:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.
